Review by hotel critic
Eri Beach & Village Hotel in Hersonissos offers a captivating blend of island charm and vibrant hospitality. The views from our air-conditioned room overlooking the sea were nothing short of breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop to our busy days exploring the local sights. The outdoor pools with their convenient poolside snackbar delighted my travel companions, especially the children, turning our stay into a joyful family affair. Although the culinary options were somewhat lackluster compared to the rich flavors found in local tavernas, the hotel's proximity to the main strip allowed us to easily seek out authentic Crete cuisine. A standout was certainly the welcoming barmaid, Xara, whose warm service at the beach bar became a highlight of our afternoons spent lounging on sunbeds. If you’re after relaxation combined with a dash of nightlife, Eri Beach & Village is an excellent choice that caters well to those seeking a balance between leisure and family activities.
